yes im fully aware of that as i have a masters in politics, cheers. anyway the point still stands, it IS the wrong flag. if theres is to be a representation of the whole of ireland (which would still be inappropriate for this song) then st.patricks cross is the only fair...and true flag of ireland. not some post partition reactionary sentiment placed on a table cloth.
